Import Opportunities from China, Chinese Business Culture and Tea ceremony
On March 29, Baltic China Connected, together with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Riga China Cultural Center, held a seminar about Import opportunities from China and Chinese Harmony Culture in a Business Environment and had organized Chinese tea ceremony for Latvian business people. Sun Jinhuan, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Latvia, Wang Nan, Director of the China Cultural Center, Veronica Shaporenko, Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sigita Truksane (Chu Xiji), CEO of Baltic China Connected, and more than 30 people from the Latvia business community were invited to attend the event.
Counselor Sun Jinhuan gave a introduction to the economic and trade exchanges between China and Latvia with the theme of "Win-Win Cooperation for a Better World". Sigita Truksane introduced to the participants about import questions related with China.
Wang Nan spoke about Chinese Harmony Culture in Business Environment. She explained the concept of harmonious development among people, society and nature from traditional Chinese philosophy. She taked as well about questions related to business meetings, business dinners and business tea ceremony and the overall business etiquette culture in China.
This gathering was the first event about Business with China and Chinese culture. More events will follow in the future.
