-Our story with a Latvian cosmetic brand named Bio2You

Why shall European brands leave footprints on China’s media before entering China’s market?

Potential distributors from China are unlikely to decide to be partners with European firms which have no trace on China’s media, especially for firms from countries which are unfamiliar to Chinese clients. Otherwise, distributors need to spend more time and efforts on branding and marketing for those brands.

How to leave footprints?

*Participate in different exhibitions, expos, fairs, and B2B meetings

*Contact journalists from public media

*Contact influencers on popular networking platforms, like Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Douyin and Bilibili

*Write articles or blogs at Baidu Wikipedia, official channels on Wechat (Tencent)

Our case with Bio2You on June of 2021 in China

Bio2You is a cosmetic brand from Latvia, which had no footprints in China. Latvian products are usually brand new to Chinese clients. Hence, we decided to be involved in different events to show products and to attract journalists’ attentions.

Part one: CEEC expo in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province

One June 1, 2021, we received a package with samples for a coming expo in Ningbo.
